Oh my goodness, I am such a slacker. I'm sorry that I haven't posted in a while. I'm sorry that every time you visit this blog you see my depressing previous post. I promise this post will be more uplifting.
So much has happened since the last time I posted. Trevor is now working at
Convergys. He doesn't like it very much. I am officially finished with school. Yes, I have a bachelor's degree. Yes, I have a teaching license. No, I don't have it with me because I have to pay $55 dollars before I can print it off. Needless to say, I won't be printing it for a while.
We had a very good Christmas. Jason received many many many toys, but his favorite has to be the
Zhu Zhu pet that he got from his uncle Tyler. Tyler was worried that he wouldn't like it, but he loves that annoying little thing. He even named it. The name of his
Zhu Zhu pet is
Dadoo. He always yells "
Dadoo" and looks around for his little friend. Jason is talking like crazy. If he doesn't want to say a word that you ask him to say, he simply changes the subject by pointing at something else and saying what it is. His go to object is a light. He just points to one and says, "
ligh." Jason has acquired many new talents, but his most impressive talent is his ability to go cross-eyed. It isn't a lazy eye thing. He can go cross-eyed on command. He has a sense of humor and likes to play jokes on his parents. We love our little guy more and more everyday, although, he can be quite a stinker sometimes.
Jason will be turning two on January 31st. We will be having a party for him on Saturday, February 5
th at 4:00 pm at our new place. If you are a member of the family or a good friend, you are welcome to come. Just give me a call, so I know that you are coming. Don't expect anything too extravagant.
I will explain what is going on in the pictures. Jason does this new thing where he takes off his pants. Like father, like son! Anyway, I told him to go put his pants back on and this is what happened.
Is this where pants go?

That didn't work. What else should I try?

Oh, I remember! They go on your legs!

I'm doing it! I'm doing it!

Oh, forget it!

I'm going to go cross-eyed instead!

I would like to note that this cross-eyed picture does not do his talent justice. This child can cross his eyes much better than this. He has inherited the talent of being able to make one eye look forward and the other one crossed. I call it the hillbilly stare. He got that from me. I must have inherited it from my Tennessee relatives. Well, sorry about the novel. Make sure to look at the post underneath this one. It is quite entertaining.
