Random Things

This post will include a few different things that have nothing to do with each other. I am also going to include some random pictures.

Just in case you didn't know, Jason broke his leg a while back. We are not exactly sure how it happened. I do know that it was a horrible six weeks. Well, 5 weeks because Cinniman took Jason for a week during those six weeks. Thanks again, Cinniman! Jason was so ornery for most of the six weeks. He quickly figured out how to walk with his cast on and he quickly recovered after they took it off. I am very glad to have that experience over with.

Now on to a different topic. Last week, I went into our bathroom to use the bathroom (that's a given). When I walked in, I noticed that a bunch of Jason's shampoos and baby washes were all over the floor. When I went to pick up the bottles, I saw a startling figure to my right. Sitting on my bathroom counter was a cat. I screamed, closed the door, and ran away. Jason just simply stared at me wondering what was going on. I frantically called Trevor and asked him to come take care of our problem. Trevor left work and came home to dispose of the cat. When Trevor entered the bathroom, the cat just stared at him. He said, "Oh, he's cute. He is just scared." All I was thinking was, "Don't underestimate that cat." Well, when Trevor went to get the cat, the "cute" little thing quickly changed from this...

To this!

When the fight went down, all I could hear were things getting knocked around and a lot of hissing. After the fact, I went in to find cat hair EVERYWHERE and cat pee all over the tub and Jason's bath toys. Needless to say, everything has been thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. Very thoroughly sanitized! I don't think that bathroom has ever been that clean. Trevor left the room with some scratches and bites... and possibly rabies. The cat left the room in a cooler and then escaped when Trevor tried to put him into a box. Don't worry. The cat has returned to the wild. I know you all are wondering how this cat got into the house. Our neighborhood is full of wild, feral cats. I think one of those feral cats wandered into our house when I left our sliding door open. Side note: I had left the door open two days before I found the cat. That means that the cat had been in our house for two days. I found evidence of this when I looked under my bed and found cat hair all over our things. Yes, the cat had been hiding under our freaking bed. I have yet to find any evidence of cat pee or poop anywhere in the house. Trust me, I have looked!

On another note, Sarah and Noah came down here for Easter. We had a good time. Jason is obsessed with Noah and never stops saying his name. Here are some cute pictures from Easter.

The other day, I put Jason in his crib so I could quickly get a few things done. The next thing I knew, Jason was running down the hall. That crazy kid climbed out of his crib! Needless to say, we have now transformed his crib into a toddler bed. He has done remarkably well with the transition. Knock on wood!

I got a new camera with some of my birthday money, so you may notice an improvement in the quality of my pictures. I went from 4 mega pixels to 14 mega pixels. That is a big jump! Anyways, here are a couple random pictures.

This is how Jason was dressed when I went in to get him one morning.

I hope you enjoyed this post. I love you all!

Thank you for the post. I'm sorry to be missing your graduation but you will be in my thoughts. Give Jason & Trevor a kiss for me. I love cats so I probably would have kept that one. Love you.

Sooooo funny, Erin. Love the cat pictures! I also loved the pictures of those two cute little boys together (also the one with the cute little boy and the cute big boy. I don't want Trevor's feelings hurt.)
